MARIOBE project supported by the AXA Fund for Human Progress

Led by Céline JOUSSE (PROTEOSTASIS team), this MARIOBE project is part of our efforts to better understand the early determinants of metabolic health.

MARIOBE aims to identify, from early childhood, biological markers predictive of a predisposition to obesity. Based on preclinical work, it proposes to develop an early, non-invasive blood test to detect children at risk before clinical signs appear. The goal is to pave the way for targeted preventive interventions, particularly nutritional ones, to improve metabolic health throughout life.
