Research activity

My activity consists of developing research projects in the field of metabolomic and epidemiology. In particular, the objective is to study the phenotypes that are characteristic of the first metabolic deviations associated with the development of chronic metabolic diseases, as well as their main determinants and modulators. One of the main challenges is indeed to obtain, from phenotyping data, a more precise modelling of these pathologies in order to better define the phenotypes and their interrelationships. It requires the development of data processing strategies aimed at increasing the ability to extract and interpret the numerous data produced.
