Reserach activity

My responsibilities include managing the IT infrastructure required for the proper functioning of the PFEM, i.e., securing the data produced and providing the resources needed to exploit it.

My responsibilities include :

• Selecting and providing the servers (applications and storage) and acquisition workstations required for the platform's operation ;
• Managing IT and communications equipment: configuring and maintaining workstations as well as the existing IT infrastructure (physical and virtual servers) ;
• Training, advising, and assisting users on the tools and solutions best suited to their needs ;
• Diagnosing breakdowns and finding replacement solutions in case of urgent need ;
• Implementing and maintaining data storage and backup solutions ;
• Managing the PFEM's data management and IT infrastructure quality process ;
• Prepare documentation and ensure the traceability of technical interventions.

For all of these activities, I interact directly with other platform staff and the center's Shared IT Department. I am part of the INRAE ARA Center's network of local IT specialists.

PFEM is part of the national Metabohub organization. My second mission will be to participate in the activities of Workpackage WP5 "eInfrastructures for Knowledge Mining" :

• Participate in the technical choices of the infrastructure deployed within Metabohub (collaborative solutions, storage, backup of scientific data, data lake, etc.) ;
• Participate in the shared Agrodataring project at the technical committee level.

For all of these activities, I liaise with the Metabohub staff.
