The research I coordinate focuses on nutritional strategies based on the quality of dietary intake (including omega-3 fatty acids and oilseed proteins) to prevent sarcopenia during aging or catabolic states such as cancer and underlying metabolic disorders. Within the ASMS team, we are developing both in vitro (cellular approaches) and in vivo/physiological (animal models, human interventions) approaches to understand and modify the relationship between diet and the preservation of skeletal muscle metabolic homeostasis.

Currently coordinator of a France 2030 project and an intercarnot project (Qualiment/Plant2Pro) on the valorization of Camelina proteins.
